Submission Fee
A non-refundable abstract submission fee of $25 for AOFAS Members and $50 for non-members (per abstract) is due at the time of submission.
The abstract submission fee amount is determined by the AOFAS member type of the Abstract Submitter. AOFAS Members must log in to the submission site using the same email address as their membership profile to ensure the correct fee is charged. If you have trouble logging in, please contact [email protected].
Payment of this fee is not based on the abstract's acceptance into the
AOFAS Winter Meeting Program. Refunds will not be issued for
declined abstracts.
Submission Instructions
The “Primary Submitter” is responsible for managing the abstract, which includes adding the presenter and co-authors to the abstract. Co-authors are required to have an aofas.org account before being added to the abstract. Co-authors are NOT required to complete a disclosure to submit an abstract. If an abstract is selected, co-authors will then get an email to complete their disclosures, which is required prior to presentation of the abstract.
Requirements
Paper presenters must register and attend AOFAS Winter Meeting 2027 in person. Podium presentations cannot be presented virtually.
Paper presenters must be eligible to participate in Continuing Medical Education, as defined by the ACCME. Employees and Owners of ineligible companies are not eligible to participate in CME programming.
All paper authors are required to complete a disclosure of conflict of interest via Convey Global Disclosure prior to presentation. AOFAS will send instructions to all authors if a paper has been accepted. Individuals without current disclosures on file may be removed from the meeting program.
