Announcement: Full Funding Achieved!

The Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Foundation is pleased to announce that the Robert B. Anderson Award is now fully funded. Thanks to the generous support of Dr. Anderson’s colleagues, former trainees, and many more, this annual award will celebrate excellence in foot and ankle sports research for years to come.

The Foundation extends our sincere appreciation to every supporter who helped make this important recognition a reality.

The Robert B. Anderson Award is a new annual award that will recognize the most impactful sports paper presented at the AOFAS Annual Meeting.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Anderson has exemplified the highest standards in foot and ankle care. His contributions have shaped how we care for athletes at all levels and inspired countless surgeons worldwide. The Robert B. Anderson Award will not only recognize outstanding sports research, but also ensure that Dr. Anderson's legacy continues to elevate the field for generations to come.

The award will be given to the paper presenter and includes a $4,000 monetary award, framed certificate, and recognition from the podium at Annual Meeting. Award nominees will be selected by the AOFAS Program Committee from the anonymized review of abstracts submitted for consideration for the scientific program.
